The County Library loves learning and we offer oodles of programs for little learners and their caring adults. In addition to these programs and tools, we’ve got loads of books, movies, music and super-smart librarians at our County Library locations, as well as eAudiobooks and eBooks for kids.
Reading 1000 books before kindergarten is the best way to help your child be ready for school success! Participate in this fun program with a 0-5 profile in our online tracker or pick up a journal at your local library branch.
Babies love books and it’s never too early to read with little ones. Our Books for Baby program provides families who have newborns a book, tote, and early learning information. Available at hospitals and birth centers in Salt Lake County.
From Storytime to Stem Jr. programs, all our library branches offer programs and events designed for early learners.

Ready 4 Kindergarten is an engaging way for families of preschoolers to develop the skills needed for school success.
Storytime to Go backpacks contain activities, toys, books, and songs designed for families to share learning with little ones. The backpacks come in a variety of topics, and are available for check out at your local branch.
TumbleBook Library
A collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) TumblePuzzles. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which have been licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format. You can view the TumbleBook Library website and eBooks in French and Spanish.
World Book Early Learning
